Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 Bangkok

Indian teams have not been invited to attend the title’s biggest event, the Free Fire World Series, that will take place in Bangkok on November 25th as well as 26 November.

But this isn’t the first time the teams from the country have been disqualified from the prestigious tournament and were not able to participate in previous events due to a range of reasons.

The previous FFWS Singapore didn’t feature Indian teams, or any the other South Asian teams due to the COVID-19 limitations. In the beginning there were the two Indian squads (Nigma Galaxy as well as Team Elite) had qualified for the tournament, however, they were later disqualified from being able to take part.

Free Fire World Series Bangkok participants and the format

Garena has announced a complete list of teams to participate in the coming World Series. 17 teams representing ten regions are scheduled to participate in the tournament. 8 teams already made it to the Grand Finals from regional Free Fire competitions. Nine teams have been selected for the Play-Ins while the best four teams from those in the top four positions will be promoted into The Grand Finals.Play-Ins teams

In the last few weeks officials declared that CIS teams will not participate at the World Series Bangkok. In the beginning the two teams, Esports Orig as well as Virtus.pro have made it to the event through an entry in the CIS Path of Champions.The 2021 champion Evos Phoenix has been awarded an entry into the Play-Ins for this year.

The Thai squad is one of the top teams among the teams who are participating in this year’s FFWS 2022 Bangkok Play-Ins. Both stages of the tournament will be streamed live via Free Fire’s YouTube channel at 6pm IST in various languages.
